"Hi everyone! This is Nic and she's almost 14 years old. We brought her home from SPCA Selangor in 2000 when she was still a pup. She has been the most loyal, faithful, eager to please, sturdy, zany and a superb guard dog since she came home. I too hope, people will understand "mutts" are equally or even much better dogs than "pure breeds" for they are usually "made" free. Please support your local animal shelter when you are ready to take a new pet home."

She first came to us on 3 May 2011, a five-year-old cat we found in Bukit Timah near a house that was being demolished. Becky (now known as Whiskers) spent the next two years in our shelter, well-loved by staff and volunteers. While we loved her very much, we still wanted a good home for her; a place she could call her own. More than two years later, Becky finally finds a loving home with the Jimenez family. The Greeks adopt the Meditarranean diet which comprises mostly fruit and vegetables, nuts, fish and olive oil. So do the Okinawans, who are often reputed to be the longest-living people in the world.

Food Sponsorship For Mrs Mutharam Vasthilingam’s Rescued Cats

We have fully sponsored RM39,90 worth of canned catfood for Mrs Mutharam’s rescued cats. These cats are rescued from her flat area in Cheras. Her daughter, Kalvi, gets the cats (mostly kittens) adopted through friends and PetFinder.my. So far, 14 cats have been adopted.
We have encouraged Mrs Mutharam to get the cats neutered, vaccinated and medically treated as well. She is welcome to claim from our Medical Fund. We are also helping Mrs Mutharam with catfood subsidy as and when required.

Medical Subsidy For 2 Cats (Mrs Mutharam Vasthilingam’s)

Kutty Pony had diarrhoea and vomiting and the bill is RM55. Our subsidy is RM27.50. Kutty Baby is the kitten with the eye problem and the treatment was done in March, but Mrs Mutharam did not have sufficient funds to settle the bill. Hence, the bill had remained unpaid until we advised her to settle it and to claim a subsidy from us so that she could take other cats for treatment and neutering at this vet. The bill is RM60 and we have subsidised RM30 for it (the bill is dated 30th August 2013).

These siblings were rescued when they fell into a drain at Pandan area. Both are adorable and friendly, with everlasting smiles. Best if both can be adopted together as they are very attached to each other.
