Happy Tails From SPCA!
6th Sep 2013, by SPCA Selangor

"Hi everyone! This is Nic and she's almost 14 years old. We brought her home from SPCA Selangor in 2000 when she was still a pup. She has been the most loyal, faithful, eager to please, sturdy, zany and a superb guard dog since she came home. I too hope, people will understand "mutts" are equally or even much better dogs than "pure breeds" for they are usually "made" free. Please support your local animal shelter when you are ready to take a new pet home." ~ Sue Ann E Lim, adopter

She first came to us on 3 May 2011, a five-year-old cat we found in Bukit Timah near a house that was being demolished. Becky (now known as Whiskers) spent the next two years in our shelter, well-loved by staff and volunteers. While we loved her very much, we still wanted a good home for her; a place she could call her own. More than two years later, Becky finally finds a loving home with the Jimenez family. She now goes by the name Whiskers, and is lapping up the love showered on her. Read Whis...

Eat Like The Greeks To Stay Sharp In Old Age
6th Sep 2013, by AnimalCare

The Greeks adopt the Meditarranean diet which comprises mostly fruit and vegetables, nuts, fish and olive oil. So do the Okinawans, who are often reputed to be the longest-living people in the world. In short, they are pescetarians (vegetarians who eat fish). The Purpose Of Charity Auctions And Blanket No. 4 (already) In The Making!
5th Sep 2013, by AnimalCare

My parents are both staunch believers in never wasting time. Perhaps that rubbed off on me (which I’m truly thankful for!). So, as Blanket No. 3 is up for auction as we speak (so to speak!), mum wants to start on Blanket No. 4 and I was there today to help her match the colours. A stitch in time saves nine, hence, time is precious! Never waste time, never procrastinate. What can be done today must be done today. I am glad I have lived up to that though I must say that my speed of doing thi...
