Mizu (formerly known as Bean) was adopted from our shelter just this September. She and her humans are now joined at the hip, and Mizu is enjoying her life with her very talented humans.

Poor Tabs…

I gave Tabs the Laxatone last night, as instructed by the vet. Unfortunately, she could not retain it and spent the next half an hour vomiting it out. It breaks one’s heart to see this and there is nothing much I could do except to give the Metronidazole 48 hours to do its work.
After the massive vomiting (which resulted in me washing the cushion covers and mats), she just sat and watched me sew the next blanket. I think she could not agree with the Laxatone.

Medical Subsidy For 1 Rescued Dog, Blue (Lee Kim Eng)

The bill for Blue is RM626 and we have subsidised RM313 for it. This subsidy comes from the AnimalCare Donors (RM113) and Berjaya Cares (RM200).
Mdm Lee’s relative, Ms Wong, wrote the email on behalf of her and we have already spoken on the phone with Mdm Lee. She also submitted a report from the vet.

Dogfood For Lester Hiew Thiam Hock & Jenny Khong Chin Chin’s Community Dogs

Tabs Has High Fever (suspected Bacterial Infection Due To Hairball)

For the past two days, I noticed liquid vomit on the pantry floor. Normally, it comes from Pole as she is quite prone to hairball and 1-2 days on Laxatone would do the trick. So I fed Pole and Cleo Laxatone, but the liquid vomit was still there.
It was only today that I noticed it wasn’t Pole or Cleo but Tabs who had been vomiting. I should have known it was Tabs as the vomit had lemongrass in it. Tabs likes to eat lemongrass.

Medical Subsidy For 6 Community Cats/kittens In Ipoh (Lee Chew Keang’s)

URGENT: This dog was reported to us initially by a concerned animal lover, the owner claims the dog is difficult to handle and they are planning to surrender him to the Majlis Perbandaran Klang in 3 days to be put down. Stuck on a ledge on the eighth storey of Block 357, Tampines Street 33, this white cat was fortunate enough to be spotted by a concerned member of the public. Our Animal Rescue Officer rushed to the scene and got the frightened feline out of danger, bringing it back with him to our shelter. Fortunately, kitty is safe and did not suffer any injuries.
