One dog was bleeding heavily from one eye and the other one was highly distressed. Our staff assisted DVS officers to confine and transpor...

#Fact :Do you know that about 9 out of 10 cats and dogs SSPCA rescues from being dumped is a FEMALE? Gender bias doesn't only exists in humans, but their attitude towards pets as well. The main reason being that females can keep reproducing and males don't. Many people also assume that male cats/dogs make better pets. The Truth: There is no superior sex! The behavior of a cat/dog actually depends on the environment in which they were raised and trained. SSPCA believes that every responsible p...

Here’s…..your Army Green Tshirt! Go Meatless Once A Week!
11th Sep 2013, by AnimalCare

You voted for it, so here it is! I’m really pleased that the army green turned out to be as authentically army green as it comes. I’ll bet Mr Zurik and his Shrew Squad had something to do with this! This message is for everyone. Most people want to be kind to animals. But not everyone can rescue or foster animal street animals. Not everyone can adopt or rehome them. Not everyone can go out daily to feed them. Not everyone can do wildlife conservation. But anyone, if he/she chooses,...
