Doodle & Noodle – Finally Adopted! (Connie James’)

It was on 9th December 2013 that Connie found Doodle & Noodle wandering along the road. They were two well-kept, neutered and healthy male dogs. Attempts to locate their owner were unsuccessful.
Connie finally put them up for adoption and there were more than 20 queries.
And today, Doodle and Noodle go to their new forever home!

Perky was our Klang Pound rescue.
I named her Perky because I saw her the cheerful and determined spirit in her and indeed, she bounced back from several mishaps; one of which was when her stitches tore after being spayed and I was alone with her on the farm, miles from nowhere. I still remember that incident and how I pressed on her stitches to stop the bleeding. Mr Zurik’s Eye Wound

It was only yesterday morning that I detected Mr Zurik’s eye wound. He had been squinting for a few days and I’d washed his eye with salt water, but yesterday, a wound appeared.
The wound was quite deep and a bit of pus oozed from it when I pressed on it. Yes, the Russian allowed me to.

Willy Must Have Gone “on Leave” Again

Yesterday morning, Willy did not turn up for breakfast.
I sort of “knew” that he won’t be coming.

OWL FOUND IN VACANT BUILDING SOARS FREE!
Last week, a snowy owl was rescued after it became trapped inside a vacant building on India Street in Portland, Maine. Tom Gagne, an experienced falconer, rescued the owl from the third floor of the Grand Trunk Railroad building. After spending a few days convalescing at Avian Haven, this one was ready to fly free again and released over a nearby marsh. So thankful to all who cared for this beautiful creature.
