GOOD MORNING KITTIES!
www.HarmonyFund.org
Thought you'd all enjoy seeing a photo of a few of the kitties at one of our volunteer barns near our headquarters. This colony was rescued from an inner city location and now they live out in the country in a safe indoor/outdoor home-based sanctuary. We fenced a large section of the yard and they enjoy life in the barn and other outbuildings. These cats have a grand life now after years of searching for food and sleeping outdoors in the bitter New...

Updates On 23rd Oct 2013 23rd Oct 2013, by SPCA Singapore
We headed to St John Island last weekend, to carry out our trap, sterilise and release operation on the island. While we adore cats, it is important to ensure that the number of unwanted animals does not spiral out of control. Sterilisation will help to stabilise the number of cats in the area, and ensure...

Shake off all the worries on your mind and smile! The dogs featured in SHAKE are simply here to offer you a couple minutes of wonder and laughter. Well, you have to lower your cleanliness standards a bit. Especially when they get wet.
"Shake", a new book from photographer Carli Davidson, highlights that lightning-fast moment when our four-legged friends dry themselves off, often in a slobber-filled torn...

All It Takes Is One Person… 22nd Oct 2013, by AnimalCare
A few days ago, I was helping a friend with a problem. It is a problem that many animal rescuers might face one day and all it takes is one person to create that problem.
This friend is an animal caregiver who looks after many community animals. She was in hospital when it happened. The council came and took away some of her community animals. Everything was captured on her neighbour’s CCTV and her neighbour quickly alerted her. She texted me from the hospital to ask for help.
A long story...

Dog Breeder 22nd Oct 2013, by SPCA Selangor
This is a short video clip filmed by our inspectors several years ago, when they investigated a puppy mill in Kajang. Before the DVS could raid the place, the dogs disappeared overnight. Please don't buy pure-breed pets from places like this, or you will be supporting the cruel treatment and miserable life they have in their tiny cages.
