Christmas is approaching, folks, and it’s time for giving and…shopping!
My mum bought canvas material (and this is the really thick one, the type used to make canvas beds from the olden days) and sewed this bag (pictured below). As with the blankets, she is donating all the material and workmanship and whatever we get from this bag goes entirely to our Fund for the animals.
Auction Rules:
1. Please check the latest comment for the latest bid before putting in yours.

This isn't a picture of some ordinary tree. Look close enough and you'll see the hapless cat stuck near the end of the branches. Our Animal Rescue Officers (AROs) arrived on the scene after receiving a distress call from a concerned member of public, and managed to get to the cat using a long ladder and pole.
Fortunately, the cat was safe and without injuries. Our AROs released the cat who was happy to return to where it came from.
If you see an animal in danger, please call our emergency ho...

Mindy Gretchen Makes An Entrance…finally! 3rd Dec 2013, by AnimalCare
Mindy Gretchen is the black-and-white Indy-look-alike who lives down the road. She eats at the pavilion and according to Francis, she’s already been spayed.
Now, Mindy has oftentimes tried to enter our porch and she’d somehow be stopped or she’s just not brave enough to stand her ground.
This afternoon, I heard the familiar sound of aggression-t0-a-newcomer at the patio. I tiptoed and…
…it was a black-and-white cat!
Yes, that’s Mindy Gretchen alright. I reco...

Wise lady Mocha @ Ampang:

Yo, stop treating me like a senior citizen! I'm only sligggghtly seasoned! I've tasted more salt than you eating rice in your whole life, as the Chinese saying goes.

Adoption Spotlight: Smooch.
This 3-month-old baby girl was an unfortunate victim of the very inhumane glue board trap (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=101517704 26193155&set=pb.262947298154.-2207520000.138603122 9.&type=3&theater). Lucky for her, she was spotted by a group of school boys who quickly rushed to her aid and called us. We managed to wash the glue off her body and she gradually recovered. She's still a little shy and takes some time to warm up to strangers. We don't blame ...

Suddenly, there was a loud sound from the back of the house.
Who’s on the alert? Everyone except Ginger. Ginger relies totally on his mama to protect him.
Er….our private diner is also unperturbed by the loud noise.
We’re counting the seconds, folks….9, 8, 7,….
Eating resumes….but where is Heidi?
She had already run into the house (because of the loud noise)....
