The Closure Of Our Food Fund

As announced on 8th September 2013, we are closing our Food Fund by the end of this year: http://myanimalcare.org/2013/09/08/going-ba ck-to-basics/.
In conjunction with that announcement ,we informed all our Food Fund recipients that the last day for all petfood requests is 20th December 2013 and we hoped the 3 month-period would be sufficient time for them to source alternative sources for petfood and budget their expenses accordingly.

Tango has nose like Kucing Batu, no not "Rock Cat" but the Leopard Cat. He always have the nonchalant look, even when he really wants that cat treat you waving in your hand...

OWL SAVED FROM CHIMNEY
A tawny owl is recovering at the Secret World wildlife rescue center in the UK after being saved by firefighters. The owl is sooty but apparently unharmed and is expected to be released back into the wild in the next few weeks. Photo credit: SWNS

Everyone from the patio came into the house.
Ginger too.
Dinner was in the kitchen since everyone had come into the house.
Rosie and Heidi were too scared to eat.

FIREWOOD TO COOK HOT MEALS FOR 400 DOGS
This week at Sasha Pecic's free-roaming sanctuary in Serbia, the dogs were wondering, "What are all these logs for?"
Well, they didn't wonder for long. Soon the fire was lit and the air was filled with the smell of hot food. The dogs could hardly wait. Your donations are keeping more than 400 dogs fed here and we are incredibly grateful.

One very kind and brave UK rescuer has taken in a German Shepherd pup from Spain who was caught in a trap. Major surgery is needed but Sara has exhausted all her personal finances and maxed out every credit card trying to help the many animals she rescues. No one else would take Shadow in because they feared the cost. We don't think Sara should have to go it alone just because her heart is bigger than her bank account.
