On The Issue Of “extended Boarding” And “hospitalisation”

We have spoken on this many times but there is a need to highlight it again because we get new applicants all the time.
This is what we publish under our policies:
Why we advise against (extended) boarding
AnimalCare does not subsidise boarding for neutering unless complications arise. For medical cases, we do not subsidise boarding if the animal’s injury or illness does not warrant hospitalisation.

Why We Need Sufficient Information From Applicants

Recently, some applicants have complained that we write back asking for more information before providing our subsidies. Some have requested that we call up the vet instead.
First, we hope to work with the applicants with goodwill and trust. Sufficient information regarding the animal’s treatment, condition, etc. are required to justify our provision of the subsidy. Sufficient photos are also required, especially for medical cases. For neutering, we only require a pre- and post-op photo. F...

Adoption Spotlight: Kim and Chloe.
3-month-old Kim and Chloe hang out in our shelter and are the most active puppies we've seen! We can't quite tell what breed they are yet, but they definitely have terrier blood in them. But breed doesn't matter; they're as lovely as any of our dogs in the shelter. These babies are growing fast and would love to do so in a place they can call their own. Tabs’ Heart-Attack-Inducing Midnight Escapade

I don’t know if it’s full moon, but Bunny has gone a bit insane. He’s been taking it out on everyone, especially poor Tiger. Tabs has been crying for help. By “crying for help”, it means she wants to get out of Bunny’s Place and join the PatioCats.
We have been letting her out and there had been no incident at all.
But tonight, Bunny yelled at poor Tiger and it was just a bit too much for everyone to bear. Even Indy wanted out (of the room).
