Oscar, Rescued Persian Mix Cat For Adoption (Connie James’)

Someone surrendered his Persian mix cat and Connie is fostering him for now.
Connie named him Oscar and he is male, unneutered and estimated to be about 3 years old. We don’t know his history as he was surrendered through a third party. He is scrawny right now, probably due to not having enough food to eat for the past few weeks, but he has a great appetite and can down a whole can of Monge at one sitting!
He is very alert, curious and “manja” and totally relates to humans.

Today, we went to visit the 13 dogs at PAWS and met up with Eugene.

They are now safe at PAWS under the Sponsor-a-Pet Programme. They will only be up for adoption after they have been neutered and vaccinated.

AWRC welcomes a very special visitor today. Mark, a seven year old boy who loves animals has decided that he wants to donate the red packets he collected for his birthday to an animal charity organization and this little boy chose ACRES.
He was brought around on an educational tour around AWRC. We shared with Mark that the money he has donated will bring help to the animals he has visited in the Outdoor Sanctuary, more enrichment, food, medical care and Mark got exhilarated!

It's the 7th day of the Chinese New Year festival, also known as Renri, the common person's birthday when everyone grows a year older. Thanks to a generous sponsor, our shelter dogs get a chance to celebrate too!
Our shelter dogs enjoyed their Chinese New Year meatloaf made by The Barkery Singapore and sponsored by Ms Karen Chin. Our staff and volunteers also had a great time watching the lovelies devour their treat. Thank you, Karen!

PetFinder.my recently received a very touching and inspiring testimonial from Alina Rastam, who lost her beloved pet cat Ody during New Year.

Anyone working nearby Jalan PJU 1a/3m Taipan Damansara 1, Sra Damansara? Someone spotted a wounded black medium-sized dog limping towards the shops (behind the ones facing the main road near Damansara Idaman). It was very quiet in the area, and a group of foreign workers hanging around said it was their dog. The person left as she was alone and felt intimidated. Is anyone nearby able to check on this dog to see if he is alright? He is a free-roamer in the area. Thanks, please SHARE!

Our ambulance driver Samy and kennel worker Muniandy responded to a call for help, and rescued this frightened little pup from a drain in Sunway. She is now back at the shelter with us, and is being vaccinated and dewormed before being put up for adoption. Please contact us if you would like to give this little champion a home!
