Adoption Spotlight: Sticky.
Sticky was abandoned at a void deck and came to us in bad shape (http://on.fb.me/OF6X8G). No one came forward to claim her, and she's been with us in our shelter since last November. She may not be a puppy, but this girl is as bright and lively as it gets! About 10 years old, she has a weak lower jaw that results in her not being able to hold her tongue in. During the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, ugly news trickled-out of this Black Sea resort that thousands of stray dogs would be exterminated before the Games began. Arguing that Russia had an obligation to the international community to remove these unwanted animals, a Russian parliamentary member was quoted saying that there was “an obvious problem with animals living on the streets” and that “extermination was the fastest solution.”

This daschund female dog was brought in on 24th Feb. early in the morning. She was found wandering in the vicinity of Gelugor for 2 days and decided to end up in front of the gate of a house in Brown Gardens from where she was brought in.

A crossed Chihuahua male dog was brought in February 20 to the SPCA shelter. He was found in the vicinity of Sri Perdana Condominuim at Jalan Arratoon on 7th Feb. and finder had kept him since then. We believe he may have escaped from his home.
