Adoption Spotlight: Sticky.
Sticky was abandoned at a void deck and came to us in bad shape (http://on.fb.me/OF6X8G). No one came forward to claim her, and she's been with us in our shelter since last November. She may not be a puppy, but this girl is as bright and lively as it gets! About 10 years old, she has a weak lower jaw that results in her not being able to hold her tongue in. Russian Billionaire Saves Sochi Strays

During the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, ugly news trickled-out of this Black Sea resort that thousands of stray dogs would be exterminated before the Games began. Arguing that Russia had an obligation to the international community to remove these unwanted animals, a Russian parliamentary member was quoted saying that there was “an obvious problem with animals living on the streets” and that “extermination was the fastest solution.”
