Tiger Day 5 – A Trip Out For Some Sun! 11th Mar 2014, by AnimalCare
The morning starts with feeding Tiger first, then Bunny & Friends, and finally, the PatioCats.
Everyone has his/her fair share of wetfood followed by kibbles as snacks.
And finally, it’s Heidi, Ginger and Timmy battling for the last few kibbles.
Ginger wanted it, but Heidi’s presence was too intimidating. So both just stared at the kibbles until Timmy came, disregarded the ongoing battle of the stares and gobbled up all the remaining kibbles and that’s that.
Willy eats ...

5 Seconds for a Good Deed Tonight?
"When Cricket arrived at my home, she was afraid to bark for the first few weeks," Harmony Fund Founder Laura Simpson said. "The pound was a traumatizing place for her. I know she never had a bed or a walk or a chance to see the sun. If she could speak in terms we could understand, I have no doubt she'd ask you to take 5 seconds to sign a petition to outlaw some dark practices at the pound she was once rescued from."
IT'S A ONE-WAY DOOR: At this New Orleans...

A Fate-Changing Eye Injury 11th Mar 2014, by Noah's Ark CARES
The weather has been scorching of late. Spend a few minutes
out in the open and we will break out in sweat but we always have the choice of
going into air-conditioned vehicles or buildings. Unfortunately, this is not
the case for the homeless strays out there. They are definitely having a tough
time during this dry spell as even finding (soiled) water on the ground to quench
their thirst is getting extremely difficult.H has been seeing this tri-coloured girl Pam around her feedi...

Tiger’s New Platform 10th Mar 2014, by AnimalCare
Thanks to Sau Yee’s idea of an extended platform (Sau Yee also nursed her sporo-cat, Rascal, back to health sometime last year), Tiger has a new “bed” now.
Ginger insists on being Tiger’s new friend, so we have to pacify him for awhile, and then take him outside to the porch again. But Ginger would climb the netting and come back inside.
Here’s Tiger’s new double platform. He jumped up there all by himself.
Sweet Ginger….he knows Tiger is unwell an...

Spreading The Message And Practice Of CNRM (a Sharing By Koo) 10th Mar 2014, by AnimalCare
It’s always a case for rejoicing when we hear of more people practising CNRM for their community animals. That is what we have always aimed for. Sometimes what it takes is to spread the idea and do it ourselves. When other people see us doing it, it may motivate them to follow too.
