APRIL 2014 - We had so much fun at The Amir Yusoff Project last weekend at the Backyard Pub! Our ambassador Zoey made many new friends, and one of our shelter dogs Malita was adopted by the lovely Geraldine and Tim! We raised a total of RM1807, many thanks to Amir Yusoff and the organisers for having us over! Big hugs from all of us @ SPCA Selangor!

Tiger Day 35

This morning, all of Tiger’s sores looked promisingly dry but I didn’t have time to take any photos.
These are photos taken this evening – it seems like some of hip sores have flared up a little again. Yup, it’s a roller-coaster ride, but we will get there soon.
Tiger now runs for his life when he knows I’m going to apply anything at all on his sores. I think it’s a game for him or he doesn’t like anything applied on his sores anymore. I’m still us...

While adult animals normally would be alert enough to move away when the car engine starts, younger animals may not do so.
Please, please check after starting your car engines.

Mdm. Tan is one strong lady that truly inspires me. Her compassion towards animals is no denial. She devoted most of her life into helping and rescuing animals, not caring what others thought of her.
She built a non-kill shelter but ended up people around criticizing her for animal abused, just because she refused to put sick animals down in hope that they can be saved, given another chance.

I’m Quite Amazed With Path-Away!

After Tiger got back from his jungle adventure, I quickly sprayed his sporo sores and his legs with Path-Away. Tiger was lying on the soil, and there could be bacteria or fungi in it.
Path-Away is a biodegradable, non-toxic anti-fungal and anti-bacterial spray.
I must say I’m amazed at the effectiveness of this spray! I sprayed Tiger’s sore yesterday and today, at about 6pm.
