A quick check of the two areas where I’m waiting patiently for the sores to disappear so that we can begin the 30-day countdown to freedom from Sporonox.

BEAR WITH HEAD STUCK IN A JAR IS FREE
A back bear spent part of Easter Sunday with his head stuck in a plastic jar. A call came into police in the early hours of the morning when a resident spotted the bear wandering around a street in Lively, which is a part of Greater Sudbury in Ontario Canada.

2nd Vaccination Subsidy For Cougar (Tan Li Lian’s)

Cougar was rescued by Li Lian, found to have parvovirus, was treated and eventually recovered. We subsidised his neutering and 1st vaccination and now, his 2nd vaccination.
For this round, we have subsidised RM25 for this vaccination. Cougar is a community cat in Li Lian’s neighbourhood.

Hemopet Services

A friend used the services of Hemopet (http://www.hemopet.org/) to do specific blood tests for her pet dog and has found their services to be good.
It is interesting that she belongs to the school of thought that prefers to avoid vaccination, so she sent her pet dog’s blood to be tested at Hemopet. What was found is that her dog (a rescued stray) already has the antibodies and hence, does not need to be vaccinated anymore for the rest of his life.

Amr Aiko is the 3-legged stunt woman of the feline world. Although having lost a leg during her earlier days as a stray kitten, this hyperactive girl is perfectly agile in jumping everywhere, hopping around, climbing legs.
She absolutely adores humans and loves to be near them, lying on the lap and purring for a little rub.

Our Animal Support Officers received a call two weekends ago about a dog found inside a canal opposite Jurong Point Shopping Centre and our Junior Inspectors were immediately despatched.
