The Vaccination Schedule And Our Vaccination Subsidies

With regard to the above, we have received feedback from applicants that their vets use the calendar month for the date of the booster, which is 30-31 days after the first vaccination. In light of this, yes, we will accept and subsidise if the booster is given after one calendar month from the first shot. This means, no later than one calendar month.

Blanket No. 31a (Angry Birds (1)) – Up For Reauction!

So, Angry Birds (1) has raised RM500 for the animals now! RM333 from Luna Moonfang, who gave the blanket as a gift to Agnes Cheong and Agnes topped it up by RM167 to make it a round figure of RM500. And Agnes is now offering it back to us for reauction, so, can Angry Birds (1) fetch at least another RM150 for the animals?

If you refer to the link above, one of the 9 dogs who were supposedly vaccinated on 14th February was not vaccinated as she was found with a gaping wound on her body. So, only 8 dogs were vaccinated that day and we left the payment for one vaccination to be forwarded to the next dog or for the booster for one of the 8 dogs.

Doodle Bunny was abandoned at our shelter but also found her forever family here. HAVE YOU SEEN COOPER THE POODLE?
Cooper is a two year old toy poodle. He was chocolate colour to begin with but now his coat is getting lighter, halfway between chocolate and apricot. He is not normally allowed out on his own but yesterday he sneaked off about 1:00pm and has not been seen since. He is a very friendly dog and has never bitten anybody. Dogs' Brain Scans Reveal Vocal Responses
Devoted dog owners often claim that their pets understand them. A new study suggests they could be right.
By placing dogs in an MRI scanner, researchers from Hungary found that the canine brain reacts to voices in the same way that the human brain does.
Emotionally charged sounds, such as crying or laughter, also prompted similar responses, perhaps explaining why dogs are attuned to human emotions.

Adoption Spotlight: Mario.
Mario is a handsome boy who has plenty of energy and loves to play! Like all bulldogs (and other dogs with short noses), he has a very small nasal cavity and thus will have greater difficulty keeping his body cool. Bulldogs are very sensitive to heat and extra caution needs to be taken to ensure that they have an adequate supply of water and are kept out of standing heat, especially with Singapore's weather. Are you ready for the lifetime commitment?

Over in ACRES Lao PDR, our volunteer programme is gathering momentum.
