We would like to thank you again for your generosity! As of 15th May, HOPE has successfully raised RM15,000! We have already put a portion of the funds into feeding the animals and of course, paying back what we have owed to the dog food supplier, easing the debts temporarily. HOPE’s major monthly expenses include the following: - 1. Food for more than 1500 cats and dogs, estimated at RM40,000 monthly 2. Vaccination 3. Medical Fees 4. On the 30th May 2014, the students of ISKL organised a cheque presentation event in their school theater. Students were performing musical play, choir and dance on this event. POOR, PERPLEXED PUPPY!
Our Animal Support Officers received a call on Vesak Day about a dog trapped within a canal at Tampines Industrial Ave 1.
Our rescue team arrived at the scene to find a mongrel puppy stranded in the canal, looking distressed. The puppy was unfortunately stifled in its attempts to leap out of its misery. RESCUES IN BOSNIA: LOOK WHO IS SAFE NOW!
The rescues in Bosnia continue for animals impacted by extreme flooding. We want to show you this photo of a mother dog who is now caring for 16 puppies. A few days ago, she was nursing them all in the ruins of a broken down building. The pups were walking on piles of glass and they were all very hungry. Arijana Ari, who is a frequent volunteer rescuer had no funds to take them in but she asked, "How can I leave them?"

We heard from Mary’s sister that Capri has cataracts, so one of our readers sent a supply of the eye-drops, Can-See, all the way to Alor Setar for Capri. He met April and April’s friend, Daisy, but Capri was too scared and she ran into the house to hide.

Ban Ban is Ivan’s new name!
The kind adopter got worried when Ban Ban kept losing his appetite and hadn’t been eating well for about 3 days, so she brought Ban Ban to the vet today and discovered (as she had suspected after years of looking after so many kittens), that it was a teething problem!
