Neutering Sponsorship For 2 Male Dogs (Jocelyn Ng Kam Fong’s) 17th Jun 2014, by AnimalCare
We have fully sponsored RM300 for the neutering of these 2 male dogs. However, we could not subsidise the booster vaccination for the brown pup as the booster was administered after the due date of one calendar month.
It is important to get the booster administered no later than one calendar month from the 1st vaccination as late boosters will render the 1st vaccination invalid and the entire schedule would have to be repeated. This information is from the manufacturers of vaccines. Between 21-2...

A little good news on Rhino, the Green Iguana:
In March, we were alerted to a sick Green iguana by the roadside. When we reached the rescue location, we were shocked to find a female Green iguana in very bad condition, emaciated and possibly gravid. Confirming that thought, on our way back from rescue itself, she started laying all her eggs in the transport carrier. We were very worried for Rhino (she got her name from the two little spikes left on her head) and her health. She could have been ...

Shell we keep terrapins?
Baby terrapins are really cute! But they tend to grow to be about the size of a typical dinner plate, and can live up to the age of 50 years!
The SPCA does not encourage the keeping of terrapins because of this, as many terrapin owners have been observed to release their terrapins, after some time, into ponds and reservoirs, thereby upsetting the ecological balance of our natural environment.

WOMAN WEARS BLINDFOLD FOR 10 DAYS TO TAME DOBERMAN
- by Marianne Willemse of Love Animal House in Thailand
Bongo had a bad start in life, as most Dobermans do who are bought in anticipation of becoming fierce guard dogs. They are just like all dogs, in need of affection.
