Since we began beach patrolling and conservation efforts in Melaka's beaches in 2004, the number of turtle eggs protected has nearly doubled. The increase in turtle eggs saved was not due to an increase in overall turtle nestings, but thanks to an increase of people - the Turtle Guardians who undertake beach patrol and monitoring!
There have been many cases of egg poachers turning into Turtle Guardians too! You can help improve the situation further by helping us to place more Turtle Guardians ...

It’s Easy To Have Meat-Free Meals

I eat meat-free lunches at the chapfan stall every work-day. Just choose the vegetable dishes. It’s that easy!
And we went out for Father’s Day celebration yesterday to Pasta Zanmai and I ordered these:
Edamame beans, a good source of Omega-3 and a delicious potato salad!

My mum bought black buttons of various sizes to be used as eyes.
Here we are!

Fallen Mountie Dave Ross' Dog Danny Says Final Goodbye
Constable Dave Ross' dog Danny broke the hearts of a nation as he cried at the foot of his dead master's casket.
Constable Dave Ross was one of three Canadian Mounted Police officers reportedly slain during a Moncton man’s Shooting rampage last week. A memorial service was held for the fallen officer where Danny, a German shepherd who was also Ross’ partner, was a guest of honor.
