The mix Chow-Chow brought in on Saturday was genuinely lost."Boy Boy" was collected today by his owner. Dog was lost on 2.7.14. Owner has been searching, but did not know to approach us. His wife searched our website and saw Boy Boy safe and sound with us.
He thanked the kind gentleman who brought the dog to SPCA.

An Appeal Was Received From Passerby That A German..

An appeal was received from passerby that a German Shepherd was found in a very bad condition owned by someone staying in the area of Bagan Ajam.
We have our volunteers over to check on the dog this morning only to be told that it was taken for treatment by a certain NGO in Penang. We called the NGO and came to know that owner has instructed for the dog to be put down, unlike the claimed that it was sent for treatment. We tried to stop the dog from being put down and even called the vet clinic....

I saw Willy again this evening.
In typical Willy style, he will sit either across the road or at the drain and wait patiently for me to spot him.
And so as always, I offer him food.
But nowadays, he isn’t hungry at all.
But Willy is a Malaysian cat, so with typical Malaysian courtesy, Willy eats a little bit.

So, Mr Zurik doesn’t seem to want to go home anymore.
He’s here for every meal without fail and he stays around most of the time. Besides his constant noisy episodes with Vincent, he also chases Rosie. But Rosie is not so scared of him anymore now so that’s taken care of.

The Springy Green Netting Beds

I don’t know if it works for your cats, but our cats just LOVE these springy green netting beds.
Thank goodness they wait for their turns and don’t fight over them.
On very hot days, the pebbles seem more comfortable for Indy.
It’s a serendipitous discovery, actually.
We made tunnels for them to play on, but they flattened them and turned them into comfortable springy beds!

B ernice shared photos of Ella and her newborn kittens (below) from the adopter. According to the adopter, after the two kittens were delivered, Ella’s abdomen appeared to be still enlarged, so Ella was brought to the vet and it was discovered that Ella had placenta retention.
