OVERHEATED STRAY DOG IS SAVED WITH LOVE
A stray dog with a body temperature of a whopping 108 was found in a field in Indio, California on Tuesday. Though clearly in distress, the dog at first refused to surrender and left the open field where he was found lying down. But determined Riverside County Animal Services officers Jason Salazar and Kyle Stephens corralled him on a nearby street and immediately began cooling him with water and reassuring him that they wouldn't harm him.
The dog, esti...

S. S. Lee spotted this dog with a license tag caught at MPSP DOG POUND and with that we managed to trace down the owner.
Apparently, owner thought he had lost his dog forever. Upon receiving our call, he immediately went to claim out his dog from the pound. The joy of being able to reunite with his pet after losing hope is just indescribable.
Happy for both owner and pet. Cheers!

Ginger Overslept Again….gets New Treat In Town! 18th Jun 2014, by AnimalCare
Ever since the last few times when Ginger went “missing”, I’ve learnt not to get overly anxious when he misses dinner at 3.30pm. In every one of such episodes, he would come back from his rooftop plaza (where we think he has a den which is super comfortable for afternoon naps). The only time he really overslept badly was the time he came back at midnight. That time, I had run into panic mode, enlisted the help of a psychic and Mum-Daffodil was also sitting on the rooftop refusi...

We would like to share a touching story, from the U.S. context, from The Dodo online:-
Florida man slices hole into the side of his truck, to save kitten trapped inside....
Errand Frazier, of Vero Beach, had been out fishing, late in May 2014, when he heard the faint sound of a kitten crying out. Upon taking a closer look, he discovered the mewing was actually emanating from behind one of his truck’s side panels.
Not wanting to risk injuring the kitten - by yanking it out by force or abras...

Meat-Free Wednesday! 18th Jun 2014, by AnimalCare
This is my daily power-breakfast!
I take millet milk because I’m allergic to oats. Walnuts is brain food and the seeds are all good stuff. The organic banana is an occasional treat.
And I came back from work and found that my husband had tar-pau-ed this bittergourd misua from a shop in Glenmarie. He requested all the meat to be replaced with mushroom and more bittergourd.
I love bittergourd soup!
So again, it’s easy to get meat-free meals!!
Happy Meat-Free Wednesday!
