Bunny’s Visit To The Vet’s 11th Jul 2014, by AnimalCare
I had to interrupt Bunny’s nap to take him to the vet this morning.
Hmmmmmph…!!
No, Ginger, you do NOT want to go into the room. Trust me, please. There are two madcats in that room.
So I got Bunny into the carrier (no problem there) and off we started on our trip to the vet’s.
It is quite a long way and Bunny was yowling in the car, as usual. But if I put my fingers through the carrier door, he would be quiet…but only for a few seconds.
We reached the vet’s and...

Blind & Deaf Puppy Gets Second Chance
Many people would assume that being blind and deaf would damper a puppy’s spirits. However, such people would think twice before making such assumptions after meeting Bruno.
At only three months of age, Bruno came to the Oregon Humane Society (OHS) from Josephine County Animal Control through the OHS Second Chance Program. Before arriving at OHS, Bruno was adopted twice and returned back to the shelter.
His first home surrendered him to Josephine Count...

Deaf Dachshund Overcomes Early Life Of Misery To Become A Very Happy Dog (VIDEO) 11th Jul 2014, by SPCA Singapore
Adopted doggies can be so happy that they wag their tails while asleep!
Frank the Dachshund was neglected as a puppy, whose then-owner thought he would die. He was locked outside the home, and fed only with ADULT dog food, shedding excessively and unbearably smelly. Plain unloved, his only friend was a torn blanket.
Then, his fortunes changed when Rafael Borges adopted him, at 5 months. Frank has become so cheery that he even wags his tail while asleep. He became deaf (due to an overlooked in...

Bunny, The Morning After The Attack 11th Jul 2014, by AnimalCare
Thank you very much, Maslinda, for bringing the Transfer Factor all the way for Bunny last night. Bunny took it (thank goodness it’s easy to feed Bunny medicines and supplements) and so did Cow (just in case).
Cow, eating up his Transfer Factor last night.
We could carry Cow last night, but the moment we approached the cage, he started hissing, so it’s a “no” for sure, unless we want to end up at the emergency ward too. Finally, I took the cage back outside because altho...

Cow Ambushes Bunny 10th Jul 2014, by AnimalCare
You’ll see why no new cat can enter Bunny’s Place.
Ginger, least of all.
This evening, Bunny was just walking along the shelf minding his own business and when he reached the end of the shelf, he jumped down.
Without any warning, Cow, who was walking on the grass, lunged at Bunny and attacked his poor brother who was caught totally unaware.
A body-locked fight ensued (my son witnessed the whole episode) and by the time I rushed out with the spray, it was a little late though I manage...

WOMAN SEARCHES GLOBE TO REPLACE DOG'S FAVORITE TOY
Written by Daniela Torgerson
Mr. D, who is our largest four-legged child, is totally obsessed with a squeaky toy that we found at a local Walmart. It is toy is 10 inches long and shaped like a dolphin. It is white rubber or latex with pink, orange and purple polka dots all over.
My Lord, Mr. D played for hours every day with 'Dolphin', throwing it into the air and catching it and squeaking it to pieces. Unfortunately, the poor Dolphin could ...
