Loyal Dog Rescued After Waiting A Year For His Deceased Owner To Come Home

Dogs’ loyalty to their owners knows no bounds….
Woody the dog, left behind by his deceased owner, waited a year for the owner to return - before he got rescued.
When Woody's owner died last year, he had to fend for himself outside, all alone and deserted. He, of course, could not tell his owner wouldn’t return for him, so he waited.
And waited. And took refuge in the space beneath a nearby shed. His hair became matted and overgrown, concealing his starved condition.

A report came in of this black dog in Block U, Kinrara Court, Taman Kinrara, Batu 7, Jalan Puchong, 47180 Selangor who has a big wound. Is anyone in the area able to help? Please contact 016-3752688 if you can help rescue this dog. We can assist with transport, but we can't take the dog in due to limited space.

Project Marathon Jon – Update 9 (the Bag’s Ready!)

My mum was touched that despite Jon’s shin bone injury and being on crutches for 2 months following his accident, he decided to take up running again and is running to raise funds for AnimalCare.
The total funds raised todate stands at RM2550. All banked directly into our account and has already gone to work to help animals. So as Jon continues with his training, the money raised is already helping the animals who come through us.

Mdm Tay Cheng Choo is a new applicant. We are glad that a vet in Johor Baru is helping stray animals and their rescuers by letting his rescuer-clients know about our subsidies. This way, we can help save more lives.
Mdm Tay does not use the internet, so she sent the following photos by post. These two dogs were rescued in February 2014, one was pregnant and has since delivered. Mdm Tay is still fostering them now, hoping to rehome them.
