Dogs Don’t Die; They Just Sleep In Your Heart! 18th Jul 2014, by AnimalCare
I like this: http://www.tickld.com/x/why-dogs-never-actu ally-die-this-guy-nails-it
I particularly like this piece of writing, not so much for what you read at face value, but the deeper meaning embedded in it. For me, there is an underlying message in it that we should not anthropomorphise animals. How we view or fear “dying” may not be how an animal views it.
Human fear death like they fear the plague. They don’t want to die, they are not willing to die, and when it ...

Ref: http://myanimalcare.org/2014/07/17/nightmari sh-experiences/
After the nightmarish experience with the courier service where possibly no delivery was even made, we are utterly thankful to our reader for offering to collect the parcel from the depot and hand-deliver it to the winner of the blanket, Ms Cindy Lim. And also, thank you very much, Ms Cindy, for your patience and kind understanding that the inconvenience was really beyond our control as the blanket was posted on the very next da...

Adopting The “less Adoptable” Ones 18th Jul 2014, by AnimalCare
Source: http://www.tickld.com/x/before-you-think- about-getting-a-cat-its-important-to-remember-this -seriously
We have two “less adoptable” cats too!
Indy aka Spider-Cat
Spotted by a friend when he was a tiny kitten and had fallen into the drain. I was supposed to only foster him as the friend was going for a holiday, but the first check-up at the vet’s revealed he had eye, Eustachian tube and very severe bladder infections and his chances of survival was very slim. The...

And What Do You Do At The Rooftop Plaza, Ginger? 17th Jul 2014, by AnimalCare
We know that whenever Ginger disappears for hours, he would most probably (almost certainly) be at the rooftop plaza.
But we don’t know exactly which part of the neighbour’s roof he is at, and more interestingly, what Ginger does up there.
Here’s the strange thing….
Whenever Ginger comes down from the rooftop, he seems a little disoriented and is “not himself”.
I don’t know how to describe it exactly, but he seems a little “high” on something...

Nightmarish Experiences 17th Jul 2014, by AnimalCare
I seldom complain.
But today, allow me this privilege, please.
It’s happened not once, but twice, and both to the same area in Selangor.
I am practically at the post office every day because there are orders to deliver, which is a good thing, but we hope we can rely on the courier service, what more the guarantee of “next day delivery” but that is not to be these days.
It is still okay if it is delayed 1-2 days. After all, it’s the festive season and we understand that t...

"WHITE OWL, $200.... HIT ME UP"
Chris Peña of Brownsville, Texas has a very good sense of right and wrong and he's not afraid to use it. Chris was looking over a friend's Facebook page when he found an unusual post advertising the sale of a snowy owl. The post said, "White owl, $200 ... hit me up."
Chris was concerned about the owl and had the suspicion that the sale was illegal, so he called his local Channel 5 News for help. The reporter brought in the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, a...
