Siamese And Grey Tabby – Adopted!

Great news to start off the day – Siamese and grey tabby from our previous rescue have both been adopted from the clinic by separate families yesterday! We thank the vet very much for doing the adoption and looking after both of them. The adopters are welcome to apply for our neutering subsidies when the kittens are of age. Both have been vaccinated already.

There's more to being a Turtle Guardian than just patrolling and monitoring beaches. Turtle Guardians have to collect data on nestings and habitats to enable better understanding of turtle habits and enhance turtle protection efforts in priority areas. This past week was bursting with cat rescues in Turkey, Ukraine, and the United States. This little darling named Spooky is enjoying a moment in the arms of our volunteer extraordinaire Karen. Spooky has been living in a cage for a very long time and his sudden freedom to move about is wonderful. It turns out that Spooky has FIV, but he's already found an adoptive home with a 'mom' who will carefully tend to his health needs. Suddenly Spooky has a whole lot to purr about....

Today, I took a chance and let Ginger into Bunny’s room when everyone was asleep after dinner.
Tabs is friends with Ginger outside. After all, they have breakfast together, but surprisingly when inside, Tabs wasn’t friendly anymore. But she wasn’t hostile either. Just indifferent and neutral, like, “What are you doing here? I think you are in the wrong place, Mister.”
