Source: http://blog.petflow.com/16-year-old-stray /#dg4DidJxS01QW6Cl.99 Life is far from easy for older dogs at animal shelters. Most people come in looking for a puppy and pass right by the senior dogs, who are usually more susceptible to health problems in the shelter environment. Most people don’t realize that there are many advantages to owning a senior dog, like all the love and appreciation they have for their new parents who saved them. Meet Bear, a 16-year-old homeless dog who no ...

DON’T LEAVE ANIMALS IN CARS! Recently in the U.S., there have been cases of people being charged, under animal cruelty laws, for leaving their dogs in their cars. Here in Singapore, we’ve also experienced cases of pets being left in cars, only to be defenceless against the immense heat inside, as their owners went about their usual errands. This puppy was rescued last night with a wire tied around the snout at a rubbish bin in Alma. It is suspected she must have been dumped there in such condition for days. Miraculously, she survived the ordeal. We are truly saddened by the level of cruelty humans are capable of doing, to hurt the voiceless animals who can't speak for themselves. Though we do not know who did this but we hope that one day you will realise your wrong doings and be ashamed of yourself.
