- the Bartholomewsz family for taking home the cuddly LOGI!
May these bunnies find the happiness and love they've never had! They once were lost (and abandoned, at void decks or parks), but now have found - their lifelong human companions!

Disabled Chihuahua Gets Cart From Toy Parts
Indianapolis, US – A disabled Chihuahua named "Turbo" is gaining ground in his quest to be mobile.
A Marion County couple surrendered the puppy to the staff at The Downtown Veterinarian on East 11th Street earlier this month. They explained the dog's front legs hadn't developed and, although his mother was feeding him those first few weeks, as soon as he was weaned, the other dogs weren't letting him near any food.

So, we got off to a damp start. But spirits were not dampened! A rainbow appeared after the rain. Our bartender has started shaking up his drinks (under the rainbow no less)! Our animal friends are waiting with bated breath for the Animal Kingdom Bouncy Castle to open its doors, and the aroma of food seems to be infecting everyone, even our volunteers! The first ever ACRES Carnival is in motion now! So COME ON DOWN NOW to the Youth Park!!!

Cassie informed us early this morning that the kind gentleman came to pick up the kitten at 11.30pm last night, after tarawih prayers, as promised. THE ACRES 2014 CARNIVAL is finally happening tomorrow!
Everyone has been so excited preparing for this and we know we will have an awesome good time!!! Two of ACRES lovely dogs will be there to give us moral support to END ANIMAL CRUELTY too! Be sure to come join us at YOUTH PARK from 10am - 5pm!
PS: Sunshine has been so excited; she's finally fallen asleep in anticipation of tomorrow :) We cannot disappoint her can we?

Ginger Missing Until 6pm… Back Home Now!

In the last week or so, Ginger has been coming back late for dinner almost every day. Dinner is at 3.30pm, and Ginger is usually missing. But he would come back by 5pm and have his dinner separately. Sometimes, Mr Zurik is missing too, but he comes in at about 4pm.
But today, Ginger was missing until 6pm.
I pressed the panic button and went out to look for him. I asked the security guard who actually laughed and said, “Aunty ni, selalu saja cari kucing…” He said he had not see...

This dog was found caught to MPSP DOG POUND by our volunteer this afternoon when doing his round of volunteering task.
As the office will be closed until after Raya break, we are unable to get assistant to trace the owner until then.
We appeal to Public to help share out this post in hope it will reach its owner and the dog gets to reunite with his owner.

A Cat Family, Rescued And Rehomed

It is really sad that in this last one week, many cat families (formerly pets) have been found abandoned or surrendered.
We were alerted to one cat family (a mother and three young kittens) who were abandoned by their owners. Luckily one of our readers offered to take over the family and provide a safe home for them over the long Hari Raya holidays.
