We have had a flurry of rescues of cats over the last two weeks. Most have been kept in cages for a year or more. Yes, you read that correctly.
It is so painful to see animals suffer when a rescuers good intentions and poor judgment collide. This little one is among the nine who have just arrived at our rescue barn. Take a look, it may or may not apply to your dog, but it’s good to know: http://www.mnn.com/family/pets/stories/11-t hings-humans-do-that-dogs-hate

There is already evidence that koalas do NOT like to be carried for photography sessions. Yet, humans continue to do it.
We’ll never really know, so we can only read...

Egg poachers are one of the many challenges faced by Turtle Guardians. Field biologist Ooi Ying Cheing tells us of his experience with the types of poachers he has encountered:

2) The aggressive ones, like the one who “kidnapped” a turtle, put it inside his car, sped off and forced the turtle to lay her eggs in a location that he had secured, and
3) The str...
