This post shows the process of reintroducing a macaque to the troop.
In this case, one macaque had been in quarantine for a few days to receive treatment for an injury.
Over time, there was a possibility that his troop may have forgotten him, and attack him as a result.
We needed to work as a team to ensure his safety, the safety of the rest of the troop, and that of our own.

Raya Family, Rehomed To Their Forever Home!

Two days before Hari Raya, we were alerted to a cat family (mother and three very young kittens) being abandoned by their owner.
Luckily and thankfully, one of our readers offered to look after (with the possibility of adopting) them even though it was two days before Hari Raya. We cannot thank our reader enough for doing this.

Pole Is Back To Her 100%

After yesterday’s unfortunate episode where Pole’s hind leg got stuck in the sliding drawer, she’s back to 100% this morning and even allowed us to dab her wound with Path-Away on a cotton pad!
That’s the wound caused by the sliding drawer.
While it may look like a harmless wound, that’s still relative if one considers how thin and small Pole’s leg is.
But Pole seems to be back to 100% today, so that’s good.

Who Destroyed Daffodil’s Bomb Shelter?

This happened a few weeks ago, and it has also taken a few weeks to rectify the problem.
Daffodil has several “bomb shelters”. These are boxes that she feels safe in. As you know, Daffodil has lived on the streets for more than 10 years as a street cat before we moved here and provided her with a safe place to, hopefully, call “home”, at least a safe place to run back to in case of any danger on the street or in the playground which she sometimes frequents.
