Yesterday I was at the post office and heard the familiar sound of newly hatched chicks. They were calling out from inside a pair of cardboard boxes on the counter. No mama. No food. No water. Yes, the shipping of live, day-old baby chicks is a booming business in the States. I noted that the boxes had a website address for MyPetChicken.com. BatCat Needs a Home!

This lively little fellow, now aged around 4-5 months, was rescued as he wobbled alone along the edge of a very busy main road at just a few weeks old ........ He is now a sleek, energetic fellow and looking for a new forever home.
He has already had his necessary worming medications, two vaccinations and will be neutered soon. He's a handsome boy, black, long tail and he is finally beginning to grow into those big bat ears!

Two Young Female Cats Looking for a Forever Home

This Chow Chow that was earlier rescued with a fractured shoulder and poor health condition had at last passed through her many hurdles and will be ready for discharged by end of the week.
Her medical bill as of to-date has come up to RM3200 and since she still need her medication and injection daily, we are expecting her medical bill by end of this week to be around RM3500.

SPCA rescues cat from train’s tracks, & appeals for cat’s owner to reclaim it! (Cat sports a unique, studded, green collar)
We were alerted, just yesterday morning (August 19, 2014), to a cat seemingly rooted to a spot right underneath a train’s rail at Fernvale LRT Station. The cat hardly fidgeted, but was conspicuous enough to be detected by the concerned informer and onlookers.
