Bunny’s Stories

Bunny’s frequent vomiting had got me quite worried. But before taking him to the vet, which I figured would warrant doing blood tests since we cannot see anything clinically wrong with him, I thought I’d try giving him probiotics first.
He also didn’t seem too well so he’s been on Vetri DMG and Transfer Factor. Indy has been keeping watch on Bunny too.
So I got this.
There was no problem feeding Bunny since he loves the taste.

Pre Adoption Day Bath Time

We just wanted to say a big Thank you to our long time supporters - Geeta and her mom for dropping by to give the furkids a bath a day prior to IOI Mall Adoption Drive.The help means a lot to us and the furkids, by being clean and smelling great, chances of these "VIPs" getting adopted were surely increased!

Ginger’s Supervised Visits

Ginger’s wishes were fulfilled a few times this week when he was allowed to have supervised (more like guarded) visits to Bunny’s room.
Cow looked, but decided he’ll let Ginger be.
Ginger wants so desperately to get in, and Tabs wants so desperately to get out.
Guess even for cats, the grass is greener on the other side.
Tabs still does her lightning escapes every day, whenever she can.

AN ANGEL FOR SARAJEVO'S STRAYS
Last night we sent aid to Arijana Ari Arifovic, a wonderful woman who devotes herself to stray animals in Sarajevo. Her rescue work is quite extraordinary and we are deeply moved by the way she has defended dogs who are abandoned, kicked, chased and hit by cars. Many of the dogs Arijana seeks to help are now in boarding centers where they await adoptive homes. Others are still on the street, but receiving her care.

A litter of cute pups found wandering around Apartment Sentosa Villa, Klang. Some residents are unhappy with the pups and may plan to discard them very soon. There were previously some 20 of them, but some have unfortunately died while some have been adopted.

We believe that the photos of this dog may somehow triggered your memories and come across as familiar since many has been sharing her photos in the social media these couple of days speculating that she has been raped by a man in Penang.

Patch is healing beautifully and he has grown into a very handsome young chap indeed, within 3 weeks.
From an injured dog with a huge smelly wound infested with maggots, that was shooed away by every passersby, he is now in the pink of health.

Daffodil’s Bruises

You’d remember that Daffodil lost her trust of me completely when I caught her to apply Path-Away on the bruises on both sides of her neck. Just twice, and months of trust-building (and success) has now gone down the drain completely.
Oh well…
So, since the bruises did not look too serious, I resorted to Plan B – to sneak Vetri DMG liquid into her food and hope that nutritious food and the Vetri will help the bruises heal on its own.
Healing gradually, monitoring it day by day...
