This shih tzu has been admitted to Venice Veterinary Clinic since Sunday. He has been diagnosed with Keratoconjunctivitis sicca, commonly known as dry eye syndrome.
He was abandoned at the shelter recently in a very bad condition. Pus were flowing out from his affected eye and he was nothing but a mess. Mdm. Tan had him cleaned up a little bit before he was sent to the vet.

SUSHI the kitty, happily ever after!
Female, calico-coloured Japanese Bobtail kitten, Sushi, was adopted from our shelter on 1 Sep, 2014. She adjusted fast and very well, and all it took was a mere day for her to adapt and become toilet-/litter-trained.
Sushi also has become the best of friends with Hero, the family’s guinea pig. The dynamic duo are now bosom buddies!

Cat in a corner, on the (l)edge of despair….
This late afternoon (Sep 28, 2014), we were alerted to a cat seen perched on the 11th floor ledge of a residential block in Toa Payoh North. The cat was suspected to be distressed, according to our informer.
Our rescue officer was quickly despatched to the scene, and found the local white/black bi-coloured feline, nestled on that ledge reportedly for some time already. The cat indeed appeared distressed, and care had to be taken not to alarm it in...
