Athena is a little refugee from Turkey. She came all the way from Avsallar and is one of the lucky street cats who is now safe after a very treacherous start. Unfortunately friendly stray cats like her are at greatest risk of being attacked by locals. Cat just rescued from the ledge, of the top floor of an HDB block in Ang Mo Kio
Earlier tonight (Sep 18, 2014), we were alerted to a cat seen perched on the 12th floor ledge of a residential block in Ang Mo Kio Ave 10. The cat was suspected to be distressed, as related to us by our informers.
Our rescue officer was quickly despatched to the scene, and found the local grey-black feline, nestled on that narrow ledge reportedly for some time already. The cat indeed appeared distressed, and care ...
