We are proud to announce our collaboration with BAYA!(www.baya.me)
Inspired by the film, 'The Cove', BAYA was set up to create jewellery to spread awareness of the plight of dolphins and, at the same time, raise money for charity!

SPCA has picked up the body of a dead cat just last night (Oct 28 '14), following our informers' alert, from Marine Crescent.
SPCA has just referred the case to the AVA for a post-mortem and further investigations. We ask that comments be withheld until conclusive findings are derived from the post-mortem, at which time we will post an update.
We wish to alert all cat owners to keep their pet cats indoors at all times, to avoid putting them at risk.

This adorable fluffy, blue eyed beauty was rescued from a street. Once rescued, she required a lot of love and affection to reduce any stress and trauma experienced as she was found wandering all alone.
This tiny angel is incredibly active, loving and playful, full of life and would make a loving feline companion.

For this week in our weekly animal care update, we would like to send a belated thank you to Jose Manuel Quiros. He spent over 2 weeks in early October helping us with our animal care work. Although Quiros was technically on a long holiday, he worked every day at ACRES, contributing as much as he could. His enthusiastic energy helped us tremendously. Quiros has since left Singapore to continue on his journey. We wish him all the best and hope to see him again.
