Love is Ageless, especially the love of Seniors!
Why Adopt A Senior Pet?
According to most veterinarians, a dog falls into the “Senior” category around age seven years. The size of a dog, however, affects this categorization. Smaller dogs tend to mature slower and become seniors later in life than larger dogs. SPCA’s shelter does have healthy and active senior dogs that are in need of a loving, forever home.

Kaew Khun's Shower Enrichment

In Lao PDR, the staff and volunteers have been trying hard to make life for Kaew Khun better until we can develop her own island.
Recently, with the help of volunteers, we fixed the shower in her enclosure. She has probably not experienced a shower before ACRES, hence her reaction - watch it in the video below!

SPCA rescues cat caught between panes and frame….
Earlier this morning (Oct 14, 2014), we received a distress call about a cat trapped between the window panes and frame of a second floor flat unit along Merpati Road. The cream/seal point-coloured tabby was actually firmly wedged between adjacent panes and the frame.

How many of us would love to have the opportunity to see a wild moose. Can't imagine finding any amusement in chasing one down this way. Thank goodness no one, four-legged or two-legged, was injured. What a beautiful animal. May this moose's next encounter be with a much more respectful pair of humans.
