The World Parks Congress 2014 in Sydney concluded yesterday with a collective promise to invigorate efforts, inspire new stakeholders and invest in marine and terrestrial parks. Held once every 10 years by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the meeting saw commitments to 140 million hectares of new protected areas made and over US$500 million in conservation funding for management of these parks was also announced at WWF’s event.

We wish to thank our reader who specially ordered these 8 Christmas bags from us, for her generous donation made in memory of Beloved Sam.
The sewing, designs and felt are contributed by my mum while the canvas material is contributed by Agnes Cheong.
It took a few weeks to complete all the 8 bags. All designs are handsewn and some parts of the bags were also handsewn as the material was too thick for the sewing machine.
