Kaew Khun's Shower Enrichment

In Lao PDR, the staff and volunteers have been trying hard to make life for Kaew Khun better until we can develop her own island.
Recently, with the help of volunteers, we fixed the shower in her enclosure. She has probably not experienced a shower before ACRES, hence her reaction - watch it in the video below!
We'll keep on trying new things to brighten up her life :)

The enchanting Love Animal House in Thailand is running short on funds to buy hay for the grazing animals this month. We're hoping to put together $300 to send over for the hay which is more costly right now due to a shortage.

SPCA rescues cat caught between panes and frame….
Earlier this morning (Oct 14, 2014), we received a distress call about a cat trapped between the window panes and frame of a second floor flat unit along Merpati Road. The cream/seal point-coloured tabby was actually firmly wedged between adjacent panes and the frame.

How many of us would love to have the opportunity to see a wild moose. Can't imagine finding any amusement in chasing one down this way. Thank goodness no one, four-legged or two-legged, was injured.
