Updates On Karina 2nd Nov 2014, by Second Chance
After one week of treatment at the clinic, Karina's stomach has shrunk in size. Now she is being fostered and still needs daily jabs.
Having said that, she is much "lighter" now and can move with ease rather than carrying a heavy body around. Her appetite is very good and enjoys chicken rice very much.
She has also been given the second jab for mange (skin problem).

Shasha - The Girl With The Broken Tail 2nd Nov 2014, by Noah's Ark CARES
Shasha - a petite brown mongrel with yellow eyes that
lives at the end of a street. She lives in a high culling area but fortunately,
her factory took heed of our advice and made the effort to keep her within
their premises. She was just spayed by us in mid August this year and we see
her weekly still – her workers know us well too. :)
Shasha when we spayed her
A few nights back, we were as usual reaching Shasha's factory when we noticed
her excessively licking her tail and ...

Indy had mild diarrhoea two nights ago and I put him on ID and steamed pumpkin. So, the whole of yesterday, Indy was forcefed ID with steamed pumpkin. He didn’t like it, of course. About an hour after every small meal, there would be pasty poo at Indy’s poo-corner on the grass. This happened about 6 times yesterday. Then, right after that, Ginger came back one morning with five new bite wounds…. *sigh*
I cleaned the wounds with hibiscrub and applied iodine on them.
They didn’t look like puncture wounds.
And luckily he was still on antibiotics so that provided some protection against any secondary infection.
Fur g...
