White God - Trailer 16th Jan 2015, by PetFinder.my
In search of a nice animal welfare movie? Here's a great one coming to you in March 2015 – White God.
Winner of the Un Certain Regard Prize at the 2014 Cannes Festival, this film is a story of the indignities visited upon animals by their supposed human superiors, but it's also a stark, beautiful metaphor for the political and cultural tensions sweeping contemporary Europe.
When young Lili is forced to give up her beloved dog Hagen because its mixed-breed heritage is deemed "unfit" by The S...

Another Little Step…(tshirts) 16th Jan 2015, by AnimalCare
We would like to thank all our supporters for immediately responding to our call to help us clear our tshirt stock when we had plans to eventually close our Fund in December 2014. That’s when we reduced the price of the tshirt to RM20 (closing down sales).
But now, we are making small steps to revive AnimalCare and we hope we can get a little bit more proceeds from the sales of tshirts to top up our Fund.
So, no more “closing down sales”!
Here’s another small step to revi...

Miao Miao @ Kuala Lumpur
http://www.petfinder.my/pets/64865
Make no mistake, this is no local Miao. This girl is a rescued kitten that's been air-flown all the way from PHILIPPINES. Business class.
The rescuer didn't have the heart to leave the helpless kitten at Manila Street, got her a pet passport, and here she is.
However, due to the rescuer's busy schedule, he feels that he is not able to dedicate enough time for Miao, and that she is quite lonely and unhappy at home.
Would you be able...

Hi!
I need your help. My dog - mini schnauzer got lost yesterday night around Tmn Lagenda Mas, Cheras (Townhouse near the cartoon house). My hub forgot to lock the main gate, and we suspect she was taken by someone cause she is very afraid of going out of the house no matter what. Can you help us to relocate?
Her name is Mui Mui, she is now a little lesser fur as we just shaved her a month ago, and she is slimmer now. She is about 4 years old.
My contact is 0...

If only they knew...
That ferocious look was made out of fear,
That magnificent pace meant nothing but anxiety,
That a majestic being was lost on the day it left the forest,
Would there still be smiles on their faces?
Despite some good conservation efforts by a meagre number of facilities that hold wild animals captive, it is an undeniable fact that millions and millions of these amazing creatures would lose their true identity to the thriving captive wild animal industry, just so that we could...

Taking One Small Step At A Time… 15th Jan 2015, by AnimalCare
Although we had made the announcement on 23rd December 2014 that we will not be needing cash donations to our Fund (there were plans to eventually close the Fund at that time), not everyone follows our blog and some may have missed out on that announcement. Hence, we are still getting a few cash donations, some banked in anonymously too. In view of this, these cash donations will be used immediately to pay the ongoing neutering subsidies.
