Here’s a tribute to dogs and the wonderful lessons they teach us: http://www.outsideonline.com/fitness/wellness /What-Dogs-Can-Teach-Us-About-Being-Content.html

OUR WILD NEIGHBOURS: WILD BOAR
We’re very lucky in Singapore to share our island home with a huge variety of wild animals, although many of these animals are rarely encountered and remain somewhat of a mystery to many people.
We’ll be sharing information about our fascinating wild neighbours every Wednesday, so that we can start to understand them better, starting with wild boars!
Wild boars are medium-sized animals. They live in groups (called sounds), and they are usually nocturnal, bein...

Breaking News: Cow Defends Ginger?? 3rd Mar 2015, by AnimalCare
Ginger just had to come in again. It broke my heart seeing him sitting outside the grille, mewing and waiting, so I let him in.
Bunny was sleeping. So I put him on the other chair and let Ginger in.
Ginger was delighted and very confident (or just naive?).
Be careful of Indy…
And Cow too…he’s watching.
Suddenly, Indy rushed menacingly towards Ginger. I scooped Ginger up and put him on the bench.
Then, the totally unexpected happened.
You won’t believe this, folks.
Cow...

GRATEFUL FOR YOU
Just look at the expression on the face of this cat living in Avsallar, Turkey. She's just had a good meal. Each day, volunteer Manuela Wroblewski walks 6 or more hours, delivering meals to street animals here. Life here isn't easy for the homeless animals, but she brings them the treasured gift of food. Spay/neuter campaigns are run frequently and many cats are being adopted abroad. Thanks to all of you, we just sent another $2,000 to purchase food for the animals this month. ...
