First, we wish to thank Yuen Foon for ordering 3 blankets. These are going to be presents for two weddings and as a retirement gift.

Updates: I was supposed to make a bigger owl for Jessy and this turned out a wee bit too small. So, I’m going to sew a bigger one, hence, would anyone like to adopt this Ms Pink? I need more kapok! Where’s the nearest place to buy (in Subang Jaya)?

A Twin Black Cats Apron!

Fattening Owls

Ming-Yi is at my mum’s house helping her to fatten the owls. Once we finish this batch of 12 owls, we will not be ordering the cloth anymore since we were shortchanged by the company.
Those who have ordered, I have already written to you and I hope you will respond soon so that we can fly the owls off to you!

It's the 2nd Easter Sunday ever for rabbit pair Ling-girl and Jing-girl in Catherine Chong's family (who adopted the bunnies exactly a year ago from SPCA, on Easter Sunday 2014!).
Though with differing personalities, both girls have become BFFs (Best (Furry) Friends Forever), and they groom each other, sleep together, eat together and even poo 2-gether! In any case, friends who play together stick together.

Oh No, We’ve Been Ali-Baba-Ed!

The other day, due to my excitement at receiving the owl cloth, I forgot to open up and count. I had assumed the company would have sent me 16 owls as advertised and paid for.
It was only today that I counted and…oh no, they have only sent me 12 owls, not 16. No wonder, they must have compensated it by sending me the small owls….

Preparing Smoothie Stock (the “Eat Less Meat” Campaign)

Preparation for our meals and snacks for the next 2 weeks…

Note: The kiwifruit skin is completely edible and makes this nutrient-dense fruit even more nutritious! A recent study shows that eating the skin triples the fiber intake compared to merely eating the flesh. And by not peeling the skin, you preserve much of the vitamin C content as well.
