OMG…it Is Raining Owls!!

I stopped by at my mum’s after work today and oh my gosh….it’s raining owls!!
Mum has made 11 toy owls for Animal Awareness Day at Universiti Malaya (25th March 2015). We won’t be able to go this round, but kind Dr Veeranoot has arrange for her students to open a booth for us. So yes, the little owls will be there at the event!

We thank all concerned members of the public for alerting us to a case of dogs observed to be in the sun, at Raffles Place MRT Station, earlier today (March 23). The dogs were seen to be part of a booth associated with a PropNex outdoor advertisement.
We share your concerns and have sent our investigating team to the scene. We did find the weather to be hot and sunny and thus unfavourable for any live animal to be at the scene.

Our deepest condolences to the family of Pak Mie, a kind and compassionate man known for rescuing hundreds of stray animals in Alor Star, Kedah.
Pak Mie, who was in critical condition after suffering a stroke and brain haemorrhage, passed away late last night. Their shelter currently houses some 700 dogs and 200 cats.

This March, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming DaEun and Sonia from the German European School to volunteer with us at the outdoor Sanctuary Area at the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre.
The work was challenging and tiring for them at first, as it is for everyone! However, at the end of the programme, the girls have learnt to work independently and cooperatively and have been a fantastic help!

This is from one of our readers who bought (by donation) a bottle of Ease Spray from us when we first introduced it:
She has a stubbornly persistent itch on her finger which has been bothering her for one year. A few days of spraying Ease Spray did the trick – the itch is healing now! Her family members tried it and it also worked on them, so she is buying 6 bottles now.

I was dumped at the gate of the shelter by my owner just like dumpling the rubbish. I almost died by virus infection at shelter. thank you Dr Davise who tried his best and saved me. I hospitalised for 3 weeks and now I stay with my foster family waiting for my forever home.
