Cow’s Check-Up At The Vet’s (Day 7)

We brought Cow for his first check-up, a week after the third eyelid flap surgery.
The vet said on the outside, it looks good and clean. The third eyelid flap is still intact and there is no signs of any infection. Cow will finish his oral antibiotics tomorrow and we are just to continue with the daily eyedrops at least twice a day. This is to prevent infection at the surgical site.
Since we cannot see what is going on inside, we can only hope that the ulcer is healing with the help of nourishm...

Poor Rotty suffered an accident in front of the rescuer's shop. His hind legs are functional but his hips are not, so he could only crawl.
Nevertheless he is a loving little pup, really quiet and not a finicky eater! He loves to be clean too, crawling away after he finishes his 'business'.

UPDATE: Bombed-Out Ukrainian Animal Rescuer is Half Way to Safety
We've learned that the vehicle sent to Debalzevo in Ukraine has arrived safely. That vehicle will rescue a woman who was living in only a modest summer cottage with 30 animals because her home was bombed in the war in Ukraine. There is NO HEAT and she and the animals are literally freezing. Looking After Cow (Day 6)

Today is Day 6 since Cow had his third eyelid flap surgery.
We let him have a walk in the garden this afternoon.
Brother Bunny accompanied Cow, but they went on their own adventures.
Cow was quite reluctant to be taken back into the room. Despite the e-collar, it was a struggle for me to carry him back. He is so strong.
Throughout the day, we give him body massages. He even knows how to turn his body so that we massage at the right places.
