Kayla, who will be celebrating her 5th birthday with a party this year, wanted to use the money that would be spent on goodie bags for her friends, to do some good instead.
So, with her generous heart, she chose the animals at the SPCA to donate this money to. On behalf of all those who will be invited to her birthday celebration, she donated a total of $150 and, in a note, wished them with a lovely poem on behalf of the animals:

"One way to do so is to have a temporary moratorium on culling and to embark on a rigorous evaluation of alternatives.
The aim should be to see if more humane methods that do not involve killing the animals can achieve the same ends, and whether these should be given greater weight in future.

On 18 April 2015 (Saturday) at about 8.30am, a dog resembling a Shih-Tzu was found, allegedly abandoned, at a Senior Citizens’ Fitness Corner near Blk 557 Hougang St 51. The dog was found to be in poor physical condition with flaky skin and overgrown nails.

Two days ago, our garden maintenance team came over to deliver the misai kucing plants (yay! we have misai kucing now) and along with that, came a pleasant surprise.
One of their clients had requested that they help take away a children’s slide from the clients’ house, so they thought (now, bless their kind souls) that our cats might like it as a new toy.
