Cat Pillows – NEW Size, NEW Price!

In view of the GST, we have decided to “resize” our cat pillows and make it more affordable to cat (and dog!) caregivers so that their animal-friends will still have toys to play with!
Our new size is about 6 inches by 3 inches and the new price is RM10 each!
(Formerly, it was 6 inches by 6 inches and priced at RM15, but the amount of silvervine powder and leaves we put into the pillows are still the same now, only a little less kapok.)

For the time being, we are no longer accepting surrenders of dogs or puppies. In the past few weeks, there have been a large number of surrenders and close to 0 adoptions (for both dogs and cats), which has led to the overcrowding issue we are currently facing. This is a common problem that plagues us and many other animal shelters.

I made parquet patches, in no particular pattern. After all, that’s why it’s called “patchwork”.

He left a legacy:
Sadly, Burrell, who was 57 and suffered from pulmonary disease, died a month later. While he didn’t live long enough to make his CAFE program a reality, because of Burrell “a lot of people in the neighborhood started getting into their pets,” says Bell. Now neighbors and family members are pitching in to care for the animals who meant so much to him.

Just last evening (27 April), we were alerted to a cat in distress, found firmly wedged between the window panes of a first floor flat unit at Tampines Street 43.
On arrival, our Rescue Officer, Daniel, gently nudged the ginger/white cat slowly down a pane, then using a catchpole to release the cat safely on the ground.
