He was in our quarantine for some time, and while there he didn’t seem to show any interest in his enclosure mates, Amber and Lola. At ACRES, we are careful when housing animals, to ensure th...

The squatter houses where they are living are going to be demolished soon, and their owners have no choice but to move to a flat where they will not be able to keep the dogs. Please call Aunty Jaya at 0163413971 if you can adopt or foster them. Thanks, please share this post!

In the U.S., the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has recently named animal cruelty as a “top-tier crime”, along with arson, burglary, kidnapping and homicide. The FBI hopes these changes will weed out animal abusers and help to bring more cases to federal prosecution. You can read more from: http://www.dogington...

TIME FOR A MORATORIUM ON CULLING? "One way to do so is to have a temporary moratorium on culling and to embark on a rigorous evaluation of alternatives. The aim should be to see if more humane methods that do not involve killing the animals can achieve the same ends, and whether these should be given greater weight in future.
