"TENBY" Visit ISPCA Shelter

On Saturday, Mrs Victor brought a total of 24 teachers and students from Tenby International School to the shelter for a visit. They donated pet food to us generously a total of 225 kg.
Thank you to all the participating teachers and students, your care gave the animals another warm meal.

Good morning everyone! Can you tell what happened in this photo?
It was taken in 2009 in the Belum-Temengor Forest Complex when a tiger decided to bite through one of our camera traps which was housed in a Pelican casing (that is actually rated as 'crush-proof')! That camera trap was hence damaged from a puncture by the tiger's canine as seen in this photo. Our biologists believe that the tiger bit the camera trap because it was curious about a foreign object in its' territory.

Here’s an X-ray image of one of the rescued Indian star tortoises in our care, courtesy of The Pet Doctors Clinic. At ACRES, we regularly order X-rays of the rescued animals to ensure that they are healthy and do not have any hidden health issues. Colombian Police Save 5 Dogs From Fire

Colombia, Pasto – Police officers risked their lives to save five dogs from a house fire.
The heroic officers were patrolling the Santa Clara neighborhood when residents informed them of the burning home. When they arrived at the residence, the house when completely engulfed in flames.
