Rescued, then fostered (before adoption): Batfleck, the glue board kitten
Batfleck (rescued from a glue board in April 2015, as featured in our post here on 29 June 2015), was only a month old when he was finally cleared of the glue stuck to his body. While our vets found him healthy, he was then too young for adoption.

The Big Fight At Dawn

Luckily I was up really early this morning.
Just now, a big fight broke out between Cow and Bunny at the Stargate.
I was in the room doing my work when I heard the sound of war cries. Quickly, I rushed out and saw Cow and Bunny locked in battle. I grabbed the water hose and sprayed at them from a distance, but it took a few significant seconds before I could break them up.

Over the past week, many eggs have been found inside the enclosures of the rescued female Indian star tortoises at the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (AWRC). This photo shows one such site where a tortoise dug a hole and laid her eggs.

Oreo is a stray dog that we neutered and released to another location. However just a few days later he had journeyed all the way back to the street where he was first found! The residents cared for him until we were able to take him in and now he's for adoption. He is a lovely boy about 1 year old, but who cannot mix with other male dogs. He totally loves humans and cannot live without them! He is FOR ADOPTION! Drop into our new ERA center to visit him, every dog adopted is another SAVED!
