Rescued, then fostered: BLINI, the kitty
Blini, a grey/white-tabby kitten, was brought to our shelter, on 3 May 2015, shortly after being found (possibly abandoned) at Choa Chu Kang. He was merely about nine weeks old then, and a little too young to be adopted.
A kind fosterer, Ms Katja Lechner, offered to help care for Blini during his initial months. She gave the kitten a warm and nurturing home environment to prepare him for his adoptive home.

Increase in tiger numbers in countries like Russia, India and Nepal seem to attest to the fact that if enough effort is made to protect it from poaching and to save its habitat, tigers can recover.
Recognised as a new sub-species just over a decade ago, the Malayan tigers were once estimated to number around 500. However as of June 23rd, they have been classified as critically endangered which means that they face a high risk of becoming extinct in the wild.

BLOODSHORT GOES FOR A SWIM!
As you might know, we’ve recently been busy revamping our snake enclosures and moving them into our quarantine. Bloodshort was one of the last snakes to have his enclosure relocated. Here’s a video of him enjoying and investigating his fresh new enclosure set up! We changed his water bowl to a tub to allow him to soak in the water. Smart Dog Dislikes Getting Wet

Where there's a will, there's a way.
This dog apparently doesn’t like to swim very much, but that didn’t stop her from retrieving a tennis ball from the middle of a pool.
This video shows a smart (or lazy?) dog fetching the ball from the water by brilliantly using a nearby kiddie pool as a makeshift raft to reach the middle of the pool, then return to safety.
