The Boys’ Outdoor Time

The boy-cats get “outdoor” time every day. Yes, all four of them. The girls aren’t interested to go out, especially Pole and Cleo. Tabs seems no longer interested to go out too, ever since Pole finally accepted her into the fold (by letting her sleep at the penthouse whenever she likes).
Tiger is the safest and easiest to be let out. He doesn’t fight with anyone and he is happy just sitting in the patio.

"K": FREEDOM AT LAST
K was a dog kept in very bad condition next to a workshop by his owner. His owner was a low-income earner and could barely make ends meet. A kind woman had been feeding K and another dog kept there, the other dog was very ill and deteriorating fast - we very sadly had to put him down as he was in severe condition.
We eventually rescued K, and warned the owner not to take in any other dogs as he couldn't care for them.

Lion Club Members Visited Our Shelters

Lion Club members form Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and China visited our shelter today, they donated a batch of building materials for building new shelters for dogs. We've stopped using old cages and replace them with new shelters for the animals.

Just yesterday (19 Aug), SPCA went to the rescue of a cat stuck in a tree, in Serangoon Central.
Our rescuer, Daniel, used a catchpole to lift the cat from the branches that it was wedged between, and brought it safely to the ground.
Although the cat appeared flustered, it was unharmed. The ginger ear-tipped cat, being a community cat, was then released.
