WWF-Malaysia organised the first-ever Sustainable Seafood Business Seminar in Kota Kinabalu on the 31st of July in conjunction with Sustainable Seafood Festival 2015.

Bus Driver Stops Bus to Save Runover Dog
The world is a cruel place, but there still are hundreds of people willing to restore our faith in humanity. A bus driver in Bogotá, Colombia, did just that when he stopped his bus to pick up a dog that had been run over by another vehicle. As you know, Daffodil is completely at home now, after straying the streets for more than 10 years before we moved into this neighbourhood in 2011.
Rosie was the first to invite herself into our compound. This was followed by her brother, Ginger, who came in to ask for help – he had been bitten by Mr Quack and the sore was turning gangrenous. So, Ginger came to the patio and sat inside the cage. How smart is that, right?

Annually, every 3rd Saturday of each August month is proclaimed as International Homeless Animals' Day. This year, we will run a month long neutering campaign with the hope of encouraging as many pet owners as possible to neuter/spay their pets. Neutering Vouchers of RM150 each for dogs, RM50 for tomcats and RM100 each for female cats will be given to help subsidize pet owners.
